Welcome to Utopia Skye Grid

Utopia Skye Grid is founded on the principles of Honor, Community & Communication. Utopia Skye Grid is a hypergrid accessible grid (though many regions are closed to HG) running a derivative of the OpenSim Core code from the NGC (NextGenCore) project. Our engine, while created from OpenSim Core, has become a proprietary fork aptly called "Tranquillity" in homage to the author of many of the enhancements working their way into our codebase from InWorldz. We strive to create a safe place for the community to enjoy their virtual world and all they can create within it. A sense of community can be a rare thing in the virtual HG space. Utopia Skye Grid hopes to perpetuate the sense of community that people were once used to in their virtual worlds.
